What is it that makes us human? Is it that we love, that we fight ? That we laugh ? Cry ? Our curiosity ? The quest for discovery ?
Driven by these questions, filmmaker and artist Yann Arthus-Bertrand spent three years collecting real-life stories from 2,000 women and men in 60 countries. Working with a dedicated team of translators, journalists and cameramen, Yann captures deeply personal and emotional accounts of topics that unite us all; struggles with poverty, war, homophobia, and the future of our planet mixed with moments of love and happiness.

The VOL.3 deals with the themes of love, women, work and poverty.

As he smiles saying “I’m proud to be the leper’s wife…”. Beautiful. Ugly crying right now because her loving him and laughing at the insults of others brings such joy to his face. This shit needs and deserves a Pulitzer.

I watched every moment of these 3 documentaries in awe and so much love. It left me crying here on y bed, in a safe place in the world. Just feeling so much love for all the people in the world. This documentary shows again it doesn’t matter where we come from in the end we are all the same. So so beautiful. Everyone should watch this. Thank you a million times for making this with such a beautiful and strong message

Malu Ekwelie says:

In order to fight corruption, you have to use corruption. Funny, sad.

zanele seluma says:

this makes me really sad..and to think there are so many rich people in the entire world buying expensive clothes and cars and houses they don't really need, going on unnecessary vacations.. in SA u find celebrities that find at least five families to buy them groceries on Christmas, but what happens when Christmas is over, they go back to their fancy lifestyles and continue being rich while the poor continue being poor… ever since i started watching this movie/film i have come to appreciate life more and stopped complaining about useless things..because unlike many people out there, i have a shelter, i have a family, i have clothes, i do not go to bed hungry and i have an education..im more blessed than i could have ever imagined…the only thing i could pray for now is for God to help me help those that are in need..i do not want riches but i want to have enough for me to be able to sustain my family and help the refugees in my country, accept them, love them, support them in any way possible…i hope the world can be moved by this and have a change of hearts…because i believe the world is rich enough to make every human being live comfortably.. only if we do away with our selfish ways and love one another as we would love ourselves… to the people that made this initiative to tell such stories, i thank you now and forever more..i thank God even more..

Associatedword says:

The most important film ever made, the world, its people, its pain, our potential…we can change, we can thrive, we can end war, poverty, suffering on this huge mother planet, rich in resources, poor in distribution and equity. It should be screened every where, always. What a great team to make this transformational film. Namastex

Luis Fernando Schafaschek says:

Someone knows what is the music that starts at ~9:00?
